From my point of view, the Stormcloaks are evil! I will bring peace! Justice! And security to my new Empire!

For the Empire!

no verification? And those penalties seem excessively harsh. I find this info uncredible.

Edit: I should also point out that I am an Empire man myself and will kill every stormcloak I see regardless of the truth of this.

Yeah but the Imperials are just as bad. They are in "rule" when really they are just a tyrant legion taking everything over whether anyone likes it or not.

No, it actually is Stormcloak controlled.

It's http://www.elderscrolls.com/skyrim/media/screenshots/markarth/ btw, in case you were confused with another town.

Its uncredible, we got your word and nothing else. Plus the fight an entire city or go to a slave mine seems very harsh, even for TES.

I'm not confused. Look at the video. There are red flags (Imperial) all over western Skyrim. Markarth has a red flag over it, so it's Imperial-controlled.

Man.. I always knew the rebels were scummy bastards. But no everyone's like "FREEDOOM!", or "They fight against the tyranical Empire! They're good!". I knew the cloaks were jerks; my instincts are right.

Dunno what to say then. During the time of this quest it was definately filled with blue armored SC soldiers on the streets, maybe the video takes place after the Legion takes over the city?

Stormcloaks and city guards have the same armor with a few small differences.

Listen to the dialogue in the video. The war is still in its early stages.

Ahh, that would explain it then. Guess they're just plain Nord Supremists who happen to be in blue armor.... <_< Sorry for the mix-up :sadvaultboy:

Even so, it seems as though the Legion has very little presence in what the native Nords do in their own cities.
