New kitchen?!

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 3:40 pm

I've never been one for using the kitchen in any of my houses, or even using food at all. I find it a waste of time really, I think they should do more with it, perhaps add a branch for it in your skill tree, there is no reason it couldn't be added to your Alchemy skills. There are so many possibilities for it too, such like a new difficulty setting called Survival? Where you actually have to feed instead of just drinking potions all day, and the higher level you are at cooking the better it heals you or whatever, or even the odds of it not burning decrease as well. Plus, now that you can have a family in your new personally designed house, how will the family survive if you don't feed them? How will your pets and animals survive without feeding them? I'm aware that there is already a mod requiring that the player eats and drinks or they'll die but I'm not a PC user and a lot of other people aren't either. Also, with this new family of yours, are any members capable of dying? I'm not trying to be a crazy man but it'll be really stupid if your kid can't die, like every other child in the game. So your children don't need food or water, and they're invincible? I dunno about everyone else but I feel the game's getting a little lame...

Enough of my wishlist, now for a real question - when designing your new house, is it required that you have to have every room? What if I don't want a kitchen or a enchanting tower, do I have to have them to 'finish' building my house and move my family in?

This is not the Sims No burning food Today mr.

Also i would like this to be Eat/Sleep/Drink instead of just eat. but sadly this will not happen until Maybe Fallout 4 - Elder Scrolls 7 (If you include Online)

I would like a Cooking Skill however, You can now Make Garlic Bread, Food is 50 Percent Better

It's a wishlist so let's not start calling them lame yet.
I for one adore the concept of the kid asking for money.. so who is to say they don't take stuff out of the pantry.. perhaps the new cooking options are specifically because of the children (i saw new desserts). It's out tomorrow, don't pull your hair out thinking about it :)

First, it doesn't have to be Sims to have burnt food, Runescape and a lot of other games do it too. Secondly, I WANT "Eat/Sleep/Drink instead of just eat." NOW!
I'm 100% sure that the new children concepts are going to be just as before - time doesn't affect them, take away all the food they have they'll still live, they will never grow up, you will never actually have to play with them or interact with them, etc.

Another thing to add to the wishlist - It was announced that you could purchase multiple lands, but I personally only live in one house at a time, you should be able to 'build an economy' like Todd Howard said you could before the release of the game; build a blacksmith, or any store of the sorts, have to provide and build items to sell, make money other than stealing it off of dead bodies (I always found that stupid), hire employees, manage a business, work for other businesses, become a slave for someone else, etc.

You can have a Smith house, Garden House, Magic House, Hunting cabin, Bakery House (Choose 3 from the list that i can think of) oh and Panic Cabin

Runescape is almost jus like de simz xD

Good choice me too, Mostly every 1 does, i will only run away to my Panic cabin and go to my Magic house once and a while

Time for me to head off now

Sigh...

Sure, you might be able to build a house with only a kitchen in it but I don't classify that as a bakery, nor can you can your family sell what you or they make to other people, so you make no other income other than what you steal from dead bodies (still think that's weird), so that's not a business.
