I have some rats living in my mattress, do they count as pets?

Your cat looks to be a Norwegian Forest Cat http://www.ofcat.net/img/Norwegian-Forest-Cat-22.jpg.

Coincidentally, your cat looks a lot like one of my cats, Anna, and exactly like she did as a kitten. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/38110_138987459455013_100000312780585_273039_7425040_n.jpg

And as long as I'm talking about Anna, I would feel bad if I didnt mention her brother Tibbs:

I love them both.

Wow, OP kitty looks very, very similar to mine, when he was small. He is 4 now though and quite big. He is nuts, very hyperactive, cheeky and a con-artist.

For example, the other night he made a racket, meowing really loud and sitting by his food cupboard. As soon as I put his food on the floor he sprinted away upstairs as fast as he could, it was like he was saying "haha, made you put the food down" and running away.

Another thing he does is ask for a treat, and then he can remember who gave him the treat, he will wait until someone else in the house is not around the person who treated him, and then trick them into giving him a treat too. At which point the other person will walk in and say "hey I already gave him a treat". A couple of times even a third person has been ready to treat him, then someone at the last moment shouts "stop, he's already had two"!

Gotta love cheeky cats!
