new marriage options for dragonborn?

It would be nice if they added a few more for variety as dawnguard added none and Hearthfire added a few

Don't be selfish! There's still no marriable Khajiit!

This. But for my new character I'm holding off on marriage just in case there are new (hopefully sixier Dunmer bachelors)

Also, is divorce an option yet? I haven't tried..OR remarriage if your partner dies..

Khajiit Female. Altmer Female. Orc Female(the Stronghold girl keeps dying because of a freakin Giant x.x). A Dunmer Female?(prefer them and it IS Morrowind)

Khajiit and Bosmer (male and female). Altmer and Redguard male (NON in the vanilla game). And a couple of male Dunmer who don't look like trolls would be nice. :)

But honestly, I'm more annoyed of all the npcs that already exist in the game and aren't marriable, despite having both the voice files for it (since other, marriable npcs share their VAs) AND favors/quests. Why?

New marriage options.
Re-marriage added if your spouse meets an untimely demise.

Untimely demise like walking out onto the porch to call kids in for dinner, but get eaten by a raiding dragon instead? Or like being lead to the throat of the world and then fus ro da-ed off the side of the mountain?

Marriage in general needs a complete re-think about what it brings to the game. It's one of those ideas that never quite got thought through fully.

Large parts of Skyrim feel like that though, so I can't say I'm holding it against the marriage system. I'm surprised that Hearthfire didn't take the opportunity to add some polish into that system, it seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Oh god yes, I tried high and low looking for a Khajiit..before I realized NONE of them (all 30) were off limits. I almost cried when I couldn't marry Karliah..I got a seriously weird girl crush on that chick. Then, Eola..
Now, I'm on to a female character..and looking for a male Dunmer..they're slim pickings..

There are 4 marriable Dunmer in total. I think the most tolerable looking one is http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Sondas_Drenim from Darkwater Crossing. I mean, he looks sort of devillish, but not as bad as other marriable Dark Elves.

Ahh, yes..very intimidating face. I'm surprised there wasn't more options with the men living in the Grey Quarter. I'm still holding out for Solstheim (ps3 cross my fingers) If that fails in torn between:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Romlyn_Dreth Who has a softer face..and decent clothing.
*Edit, on second thought I just read he's a descendant of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Valen_Dreth who was an absolute pig! To my girl in Oblivion. Kinda put a sour taste in my mouth.
Or
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Athis Whom I could dress with heavy armor to hide that bony figure, and unfortunate facial features..bahaha!

Agreed that it needs some work.
I do hope there are some more options in Dragonborn.

I wonder if they'll add new orphans too. It'd be a good place for dunmer orphans.

Meh, Im perfectly fine with RPing that my dunmer and Serana are pretty much devoted to each other; why would 2 vampires care about a blessing by Mara anyway? :lmao:

Put the mouse back in the house. Or at least cover it with a cusion. :)

I see no harm in adding more. Not my cup of tea though.

Remember Honmund and Alga who lived in Bruma in OB? They were pretty proud of living together the 'Old Nord Way' and had no use for Mara or the Chapel. Would like to see this as an option for 'partnership' when you are playing a character that wants to have a spouse but is not crazy about Mara or Chapels (like Serana).

That would certainly be interesting, and something I can see Veyalia and Serana doing, my Dunmer may be cold, calculating, and manipulative but she does care for Serana

Why they left out Khajiits and Bosmer is a mystery.

When it comes to all the interesting characters in the game - be it Karliah, Serana, Ulfric, or someone else - I swear they were thinking "ok, let's make this bunch of good-looking, in fact really hot characters, both male and female, something for everyone, give them good VAs, good dialogue, good background stories, some can even be followers - then we make them unmarriable!

Lol totally have an image of some Bethesda developer doing the Mr. Burns Fingers right now
On the other hand, I would always instinctively roll my eyes when I did the marriage thing in skyrim "Oh I see you have an amulet person I've seen once, well then lets get married" Im kind of glad Serana has a enough of a personality to say, "I care about you but Mara is really not my thing".

You know, what ? knowing standarts of Bethesda character development group what I think happend is when writters finally finish writting character that is genuily interesting, and they all remember what happens to character after marriage that they quickly go back to their desk and put something against marriage because damn it if I finnaly written a good character he's better going to stay that way.

heh could totally see it, that said with most of these characters (Serana etc.) there really isnt anything preventing people from RPing some sort of Committed relationship goin on, I know ive seen a few people do that with Ulfric, both my more evil sided Vampire and my Good Vampire story wise are in a committed relationship with Serana so with a little creativity all is possible
