New thing?

Is this added with Dawnguard? If so, what does it lead to? I was in Windhelm, when I noticed the dead body of a guard. This is nothing special, I thought. When I walked past the body, another guard came up to me asking if I knew anything about it, bringing up speech options. I said that I refused to co-operate, and was asked if I wanted to spend some time in jail. I said yes, thinking she wouldn't do it, and was thrown behind bars. I escaped, and took my things from the belongings chest, but apparently also had things in the evidence chest, even though I knew I didn't. When I opened it, it came up with a list of the dead guard's belongings. Also, I don't know if this is connected, but as soon as I got out, I was attacked by vampires. What is this?

Haven't heard of this before... it is possible it was added in Dawnguard, but I don't know.

Guards have always done that if they find you near a dead body.

Not seen that myself, but there are a lot of little things in the game you dont notice. Like in markath I chucked a sword away from a vampire corpse and the guard tried to bribe me to "pay a fine" for leaving weapons around. I refused and he gave me a 10g bounty for the hold.

That and Ive noticed a LOT more conversations between the AI of late that I didnt hear before. Like the Khajiit caravan lamenting on the dragon attacks in Dawnstar, or Gorza in Markath tearing a new one out of her apprentice.

I tend to not associate in "those parts" where dead bodies are found. If I must I pay the fine and swagger on it. My other Character has a lifetime bounty of 100 odd gold. Probably because I haven't joined the DB of thieves.

No, it was different to what guards always do. It was a lot less aggressive. Usually they arrest you because they think you did it. They arrested me for withholding information from them.

Not sick, just willing to remove an unnecessary feature that shouldn't have been there since November.
