NEW Todd Howard interview w Gamespot (Nov. 4th!)!

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 7:44 am

I like his answer to the multiplayer question at the end. I respect someone who will stand up and bluntly say that single player is the focus unless and until they can come up with a way to make MP good without distracting from the SP. Rather than tacking it on or sacrificing single player etc. simply because some developers seem to think that everything needs to have a MP component these days.

Very good answer. I hope he has the power to stick to those guns.

Offensive wasn't the right word probably.... I just would have said some of the comments more tactfully. Like I said, it's just in my head most likely.

Kinda an awkward interview. Probably since it was over the phone. Most communication is non-verbal and the way that host was wording his questions could be heard as mildly offensive.

Actually, the importance of non-verbal communication holds true on the phone as well. Just think about the use of your voice, high tones, speed of pvssyr, laughter and other conveied moods, hmmm, etc. etc. etc.
There's a lot of non-verbal (not the words themselves) communication by the phone.

It wasn't really awkward until the very end.

"Oh... Hi Todd. We were not aware you were still here. Um... GTFO."

can...can you maybe do bullet points for new info? I hate to be a "too long didn't listen" kind of person, but...that's an hour long and that host is super annoying.

they only talk about skyrim for about 30mins with todd howard.. they don't really say anything we didnt already know....
