I could certainly see it fitting in with Lore and be quite a powerful school of magic, what type of spells do you have in mind? One that I initially think of (probably due to playing too much DCU and MMO's back in the day) is a Root Tangle spell that traps enemies to the ground. Both useful and visually pleasing.

Druids do a lot of stuff that has with nature magic to do. I could for example see a druid that uses nature spells similar to a Spriggans. They would also be able to tame and heal animal. They would be able to manipulate trees and earth and so forth. And of course they could become an animal!
