I am level 21, and I've been lugging around my Honed Ancient Nord Battle Axe, a Two-Handed weapon, for about the past ten levels. Each time I level up its damage stat increases, and absolutely nothing that I pick up seems to be able to better it. The Elven Battleaxe that I just picked up, for example, has a damage stat of 42, whilst my trusty old HANBA has a damamge stat of 44. I like my old axe, but I want something new- will my old axe just keep getting better with each level up, so as to always have a higher damage stat than anything else that I am going to find?

Also, the Falmer and Forsworn arrows only have a damage stat of "7", although they seem to have a much higher in-game damage stat. Is this correct?

Once your two-handed reaches 100 it'll stop getting stronger.

So... I can expect to get to level 30+ without ever finding a weapon that has a higher damage stat than the axe that I picked up around level 12?

Ebony and Daedric are better. You were just lucky getting a weapon I've never seen before 20th level + so early
