I have a question: When will the next beta tests begin? And how many ppl can participate in them?

Don't expect to get an invite anytime soon. From what I've heard, they are using the same people for most of these tests.

A better question, would be "when will open beta start?" and "Will the pushed back release date due to console implementation affect the date open beta will become available?"

If we go by what they said when beta started, they'd send out at least 2 waves per month; however, that hasn't been the case by a long shot...so, the answer would be "nobody knows".

Before E3 they were only using people from the previous two invites, but since E3 ended they already sent out another wave of invites. So there are new people playing the beta already.

They've also said many times that they would invite new testers based on the developers' needs. From this we can gather that the developers simply do not need a larger pool of beta testers than the one that they have now or they are satisfied with the performance of their current crop of beta testers.

When the developers have need of more testers, more invitations will be sent.
