Don't take it as solid information, but the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS4 may inform on what's currently available.

I'm seriously counting on PS4 to come through as a decent gaming machine. Enough with the social media, apps and Internet requirements, let's play some video games.

I was a big supporter of microsoft as i bought the 360 back in 08. I'm done with microsoft as of today due to their [censored] stupidity of treating honest consumers as criminals and pirates get the superior version again. Drm doesn't work, if i buy next gen i'll be getting ps4 but not immediately.

Also Angry Joe explained it better then i could ever have, including the fact that there is no advantage to buying console over pc anymore

I have to agree. If I had the money, I'd switch over from console to PC gaming in a heartbeat with the exception of console exclusives.

Some good pictures of the new Xbox at http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/05/xbox-one/. Looks like it might actually have adequate cooling!
