Read it anyways. Especially if you are encountering site issues. Dark0ne is pretty good about letting us know if Nexus is encountering problems.

It's also good for the brain.

Again? Wait, Nexus has stopped being messed up?

When the NMM download link gives me errors, I just do a manual download. That's been working so far.

Ambushed doesn't even begin to cover it. Holy cow. A $5,000 bandwidth overage charge?!?

This!

And like Porscha already said you can download manually and then add your mod with NMM.

What about Dawnguard would make traffic so much higher for Nexus? DG isn't a mod available for download on Nexus.

No, but the release of Dawnguard probably sparked the interest of plenty of users and modders that had set Skyrim aside.

Probably. I've seen a huge rise in the number of people on the forums here since Dawnguard.

No.
Then what do you suggest is the other highly coincidental reason?

Yes, that much. 1200TB of data transfer is no laughing matter.

Plus there's already a significant number of Dawnguard mods showing up.

You should receive a ban for a reply like that. Totally uncalled for. But I guess you feel better about yourself now, especially since your remark was so brilliant and unique and not a lame internet cliché in any way shape or form.

While the quoted response was a bit harsh, the reply to his post by the OP kind of backed him up unfortunately.

I felt that I use the Nexus enough to become a premium member. No ads either.

I come here to help people with mods, not read about other sites problems.

Doesn't quite make sense, does it? :)
