Night Eye?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 1:52 am

I used to rely on this spell so much in Oblivion, but can't seem to find it anywhere in Skyrim.
Is it another one of the spells that they've cut out of the game? Or is it just exclusive to Vampires/Werewolves and Khajiits?

Perhaps there is a console code so that I can add it to my character. I play a stealthy character and illuminating dark areas with a torch or spell does more harm than good.

Any help appreciated, cheers.

It's an exclusive for vampires and khajiits, that's why I made my stealth char a khajiit

Become a vampire. The only real downside is having to remember to feed...but you only have to do that every three in-game days. It's not a bad compromise at all.

For what it's worth (from uesp)...

"Vision of the Tenth Eye can be used as a kind of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Night-Eye spell with some effectiveness if needed, which does not appear to increase the ability of NPCs to detect you and allows for vision beyond the limited range of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Candlelight and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Magelight, though its long cast time and glare from light sources can be considerable downsides."
