As the title says with a slight nod to the Nightmare on Elm St movies. I went to Dawnstar with my new character that I'm playing around with and realized that even though I had heard the Rumors of people having Nightmares in Dawnstar I had never actually slept there (i rarely ever put my characters to sleep) so i rent a room at the end and give it a shot. Nothing.

I would like to request a dream sequence the PC has when ever he sleeps in that town. Where you wake up in a strange world without any of your items. You can find items along the way though and you have creatures coming for you. The only way out of the dreams is to either make it to the end of the dream where you can activate something that wakes you up or you die. If you die then you wake up but you gain a penalty to maybe stamina regen. The only way to wipe the debuff is to get good sleep outside of town or make it to the goal in the dream.

To make things chalanging though every time you make it to the goal and then go to sleep again more and harder enemies will appear, maybe you'll start finding crapier gear, untill possibly you have nothing but your loin cloth and your fists and you have to fight hordes of enemies!

Well that doesnt sound scary. Well maybe not to you but to villagers it would be! And i think it would be a mod that adds just a bit more depth to the game.

Thoughts?

If I had the time and skill with the CK i would do it myself. But i dont have the time to learn and to do it. But I figured that maybe some one who did would be interested in doing something like this. I wouldnt expect it to be like my idea I outlined above nor do I seek any credit. I'm just a gamer who had an idea for something that would make the game more interesting and wished to share it with people with the skill to make it happen if they were interested.
