Since this patch came out today, I can't even launch Skyrim from the launcher. I haven't seen any other threads with this problem, and no posts of anyone having a similar issue in my thread.

This morning, I was happily playing Skyrim. After having gone shopping and come home to a patch, now it won't even load. I can't possibly be the only one can I?
Not a mod issue, there are no mods.

So... what in the world?

Also, I hate that I can't just roll back to the pre-patch version because Steam just auto-assumes that the latest version is the best. Idiocy.

Any error messages? Details are needed to diagnose.

One of the many reasons why I hate steam, bethesda forced me to buy the console version because of that and made me give up my work on creating mods, but since the console patch hasn't come out yet, I can't say anything about problems like this, if the console version won't even run after that patch I can say where going to have a very disgruntled community on our hands.
