Nice find OP. I can't wait to meet Nocturnal; since my character worships him/her.

Do you think that she will be leading the Thieves Guild in Skyrim?

I say "him/her" because a Daedric Princes gender isn't static; they can choose whatever gender they want(if they even choose a gender).

They are new to me and I think they kind of ruin the aura of the game... I wish it was more realistic as far as enemies go. Trolls and Dragons are one thing, but GOLDEN ROBOTS ON WHEELS? BY THE NINE!
I accually agree, I don't like how they look either, it seemed like they artists had a brain dead day the day they came up with those robots in past TES games

That would be awesome! Who needs a human/mer/beast leader anyways...

and then steal her cowl lingerie
Fixed for you :hubbahubba:

Seriously, she is supposed to appear naked in front of her priests but nobody can look at her unless he's spoken to. There is a book in Morrowind and in Oblivion about this.

I like the Dwemer Centurions. I mean how many fantasy games have steam powered robots? It's original, and creative; that's why I like it.

It would be more appropriate for a game like Fallout that is set in the future. It's weird for a game like Skyrim.

I know that, but I prefer to call Nocturnal "her" because...you know. :hubbahubba:

I'm stubborn and expect everyone to call her the same thing.

They were in Morrowind, which takes place about 206 years before Skyrim.

I certainly hope not. While Nocturnal is normally one of the more...benign Daedric Princes, when gods get involved, things always have a tendency to get kinda freaky deaky.

Even though I didn't play it, it's weird for Morrowind too. It just doesn't seem to fit with the world, etc.

Bold 1: It makes no sense for it to be in Fallout; the robots are powered by freaking steam, and magic. The only way they would make more sense in Fallout is if they were powered by radiation.

Bold 2: That's what I like about it. It would be boring as hell if every single fantasy world was some copy, and paste version of the one(s) before it. I like it when games do different things, and are creative. Doing everything that's "typical", and whats "expected" can get really boring, and stale.

You've gotta add new things, and not just copy the dude before you.

it would be more appropriate? you cant really say what does and doesn't belong in a universe its there so its there, plus its a pretty epic chunk of lore (the dwarves) being that they are extinct and thats what they left behind.

They are only found in Dwemer dungeons.

Btw, you need to play Morrowind. NOW.

EDIT: It's a fantasy game, NOT a medieval times game. Expand your mind for a moment.

Of course they fit the world as long as there's a reason for Dwemer artifacts and weaponry to be left behind. You should read up on the lore for the Dwemer, it is actually quite interesting. They were considered blasphemers because they sought to overcome the divines with technology while everyone else relied on magick. They created their own god and Tiber Septim had used it in order to conquer Tamriel. The reason it might not "fit in the world" is simply because everyone is too afraid to go against the 8 divines and possibly vanish like the Dwemer.

Oh, and I think we should continue talking about nocturnal now as this thread has derailed. Let's get back to the topic... Lets' see... Nocturnal is hawt

You see castles, dungeons, towns, villages, dragons, swords, bows, etc etc and don't feel that it is Medieval-esque or modeled after it?
