non quest : Fallout: New Vegas

( I doubt that there are any spoilers but maybe there is, im not sure)

So its not really a quest, but Contrearas asks you to give a note to this guy named Issac at the gun runners place. says he's got a small shack on their compond. but there is no shack apart from the main gun runner building, so I thought that maybe it was a mess up and he was suppose to say the crimson caravan so I looked there as well. no Issac. so the only other thing I could think of is that maybe this guy issac was the guy who stands by the reloader station near the vendortron. when I went there he wasn't there, so I waited, and waited and believe me I waited for more than a reasonable length of time. the guy who is normally by the reloading bench never appeared there again no matter what day of the week.

so why do I care, contrearas says if you do this for him that he'll let buy from his secret stash. I was hoping that in that stash was 40-70 govt ammo among other things.

It's possible for him to disappear, possibly due to fleeing from the occasional gunfight between traveling merchant/mercenary groups and Fiends. If he disappears and does not show up during the day in front of Gun Runners, you may be able to find him inside his house across the street from the Hostetler residence.

He seems to appear randomly at the gun runners shack.

In my game I would have to walk to his house. As soon as I entered, he would run out and head straight to the bench out front of the Gun Runners.
