Okay, I've built two houses in Hearthfire and obtained housecarls/Stewards for each. I've paid LOTS of money to the Stewards for decorations but NOTHING has appeared. My purchases through them for things on the outside have shown up (carriage, cow, chicken, etc even the Bairds) but none of the interior decorations have appeared.

Ive fast travled away, waited, slept, etc, but still no interior decor. What gives? Has this happened to anyone else?

Have you tried to make the furnishings yourself? I make all of mine and it seems to work reliably. Even then it can take like a minute for some of the items to start to pop into place.

I have seen others post of items bought from the Steward not showing up even after waiting for in-game days.

I was able to make some things in a few of the rooms. Items appeared right away. Dont know why nothing has appeard from my Stewards. Have you heard of anyone's furnishing appearing after waiting all those in-game days? Im bummed because I spent a LOT of money to have it fully furnished.

I had the same issue, TC/OP (whatever you want to be called).

I just reloaded to before purchasing the property and then tried again.

Keep an open eye, though. When you buy furnishings, it's not like the already existing houses. Only a FEW items will appear. Regardless, if you want more, you STILL have to make it at the craft stations in the various rooms. The steward WILL NOT FULLY FURNISH your house. A few shelves will appear, maybe a table, some fruit/vegetables, a few lamps. But that'll be it.

I think some people don't realize this.

Did it work after you reloaded? Another thing, I was able to "purchase" furnishings for every room but the Stewards are both telling me that I dont have enough money to furnish the entryway even though I hae like $300,000 Gold.

I have not seen any reply about it working after several in-game days. The only things I buy from the Steward are wood, farm animals and the carriage and driver.

It worked after doing it all over again from an old load.
Also, the entry dialogue option is bugged. You can furnish it, but the dialogue option then doesn't go away and the steward's response will be that you don't have enough gold.

That's not what I've found. What I've found is that the steward will indeed fully furnish each room, but not all at once. It seems to be a gradual process where a few items will appear at a time. Later visits to the house result in more items being added. All my rooms are now fully furnished entirely by my steward.

Odd.
There was a little bit in each room, but even after fast traveling all across the map (taking up a week in-game time, with how much back and forth I was doing) to get more materials, nothing else appeared in my house.

I ended up reverting back to an earlier save and it seemed to have worked. NOTHING showed up before even after waiting a couple of In-Game WEEKS.
