A noobish question I guess ...

Hey,

Sorry for the rant below but I want an answer on this.

Ok here's the deal, Ive been playing Skyrim since february and I have 2 characters : a lvl 43 Khajiit assasin/thief and a lvl 29 Nord warrior who also took the role of the dragonborn ( my khajiit isnt interested on that, just the loot and gold :P) . I LOVE THIS GAME , for me its the best RPG EVER!

Now I don't rush anything in Skyrim, ive been playing very very slow, roleplaying, doing quests at my own pace (im halfway finished on the main dragonborn quest on my nord warrior) and ive finished the companions quests.

On my Khajiit im at the beggining of the Stormcloak quests and ive just received my first quest in the Thiefs guilds (haven't joined the Dark Brotherhood yet but I plan to) .

Now the question :

Is there enough to keep you playing Skyrim after you finish all the guild quests , main quest and faction quests?

Also about the Radiant quest system, does it add just miscellanous quests like : fetch that, kill this, deliver that?

Thanks and sorry for rambling

Well, like any single player RPG, you will reach a point where most quests will be completed, and there porbably wont be much left to do. There are various misc quests all over the map, but other than that, you will either have to do some roleplaying on your own, or start a new character. Fortunately, there are is a good deal of content in Skyrim to keep you busy, i find sometimesi get bored of a character or create a new one before i finish all of them. Plus, theres the Dawnguard DLC, and upcoming DLCs aswell.

Most faction quests have a endless supply of quests, such as the Companions. If you join the Blades later in the Main Quest, you can go on endless dragon hunts.

Yes and no. Yes, the game is endless after the built in content, but you have to rely on yourself to define the experience, not the assigned quests. In other words, Role Play. Also, the game is really about Exploration and Immersiing yourself in the world. The quests are really just an excuse to go out in the world and find things to do and explore. Remember, each dungeon has a story, you just need to find it. Some even have quests that you don't get until you go into or near the Dungeon.

I think the best way is to roll a character, do some (or all if you want) of the quests that align with that character (if your a nice guy, don't join the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves for example). That way both your role and the ingame content contribute to the experience. Of course, this means multiple characters, but that is the best way to get the most out of the game.

Yes. When you finish with the Thieves and Assasins Guild quests theres always plenty to do. Both will have random quests for you (The night mother will keep sending you to kill people) and the thieves always have more jobs. Also you can run around and do the Daedric Quests, or collect all the Dragon Priest masks or just hunt down bandits for the sheer joy of killing them. They all respawn eventually.. and I do so love eating bandits (I'm,.....*coughs*.... a cannibalistic argonian [Namira's Daedric quest] and bandits are my favorite snack)

Do the radiant night mother quests involve assassinating named NPCs? How does that work? To my knowledge, named NPCs do not respawn. So wouldn't you eventually run out of NPCs to assassinate?

Most of the Radiant DB Targets are Radiant Spawns. Not all of them though. Just save first before getting the job, then you can see if you want to kill them or not at this time.
