NOOO!

My gaming laptop just broke and will most likely be held at the repair shop for at least a week. Sadistically enough, I JUST got it back about two weeks ago, as it also decided to mock me by killing itself ONE day prior to Battlefield 3's release. I swear, the whole world is against me.

This is why I put my PC on lockdown for the last two weeks. No new parts, no new programs, no user created reason as to why it won't run for me.

XBox, go get you one.

This way you can have the best of both worlds. You'll have the PC when you get it back and then you'll have an XBox for when your PC breaks again.

Oh, I regret the day I bought an MSI lappy, believe that. The hardware is good, but the build quality is exceptionally bad! :brokencomputer:

I think I see the problem.

On topic, can you buy a console? I know my local game rental place used to rent them for a bit. They went OOB but it might be worth looking into. Consoles have issues too you know? I went though two xbox 360's in 4 years. Strange that my original xbox never had a issue. Nor did my PS1 or N64.

Good luck with getting it fixed.

That's why I'm a console gamer, PC gaming is too "If-y", to me it PC gaming doesn't feel reliable. Say if my 360 dies, I can buy the $200 Slim and put my other HDD in it.

Fixing the last issue cost me roughly the same amount as a brand new console - and I bet this will as well. When I get back home I'm getting me an xbawx, I'm done with computers.

Student life is bliss.
