What music brings back memories for you? Thread inspired by listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi-MZSUUQQ4 for the first time in ages.. Gave me a really weird feeling

Also going even further back Listening to the OoT soundtrack is a biggie for nostalgia.

Quite a lot of music for me: especially stuff that I heard being played on the radio a lot during formative bits of my life, so anything in the mid-late '70s and then the early '80s can be very evocative for me.

One interestingly coincidental bit was a random track by some bloke called John Miles which for some reason really reminded me of my walk to school when I was very young. I only discovered many years later that he actually went to the same school when he was a kid, which was odd!

Cradle is a huge one for me too.. I think partly because they were so different from anything I'd heard at the time. That song was actually pretty cool.. I never got into that album like the others

They were pretty much my first extreme metal band I got into. Some of my more fond memories was playing Counter-Strike: Source while blasting trough their discography.
