Hi

Skyrim is failing to launch for me, its not even getting to to the SkyrimLauncher.exe. When I launch that i get the error "the application was unable to start correctly 0x0000142". I have tried Reinstalling but that didnt work. I've tried installing the directx, .net etc from the common files and that didnt work. I really cannot work out why skyrim fails to launch.

I'm running this on an acer 3820tg which has the intel i5 450m, ati radeon 5650m, 4gb DDR3 Ram and windows 8 RP x64 etc The weird thing is, it ran fine on windows 7 64x and it seems like it runs fine for a lot of people on windows 8.
