Not possible to configure anolog sticks on console version

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 7:12 pm

Bethesda,

I would like to know why it's possible to set every buttons on the controller but not the anolog sticks...
I like to play with southpaw configuration but in this game i can't and it's more difficult for me to play this game.

Southpaw and legacy options should be in your games.

Please, add this 2 options in a futur patch. I think lots of players will thank you.

Best regards,

KtK

(Sorry if my english is not correct)

What's a "southpaw" player? Does that mean you move with the right thumbstick, and turn with the left?

Besides the fact that defies gaming logic... I mean how would you move and jump at the same time?

Perhaps you should just learn to use the control settings as they are used in...every game ever released?

I understand some games have the option of remapping, but honestly, why would you train yourself to play a completely different way than 99% of gamers? I'm lefthanded and I see absolutely no reason to expect developers to change everything just for me...

The left stick is usually what is used for movement - see Batman , Rage, BF3 and just about every game I have played.

Has Skyrim been configured to use the right stick for movement?

Dont get me wrong, I agree with the adapt , improvise and overcome crowd but if that's the case then someone dropped a clog imo.

Wonder what other gremlins are waiting to surface, personally I dont mind waiting to get a store copy, I may read something that will make me wait even longer before parting with cash - hopefully though, I wont.

No. Skyrim movement is normal. Left stick moves, right stick controls the camera.
