Not scared of anything? I have a challenge for you...

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 4:43 am

Well I was browsing imgur recently, and somebody posted a link that made me [censored] bricks. So, if you think you're good about not being scared, try this: http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=350217&seq=31 Try not to wince up! And when your done, tell me what your reaction was

(If you've seen it, don't even bother. Loses the surprise factor.)

I had read that before, and I guess the new additions are, well, new. So, yeah, I jumped a little. Didn't expect them at all since I had already read it.

Wow, that was pretty cool. I liked how it went fast and stuff. A bit creepy but it was good.

It gave me a headache for some reason (probably the noise) but it was only surprising while it lasted. Also, funny to see everyone acting tough, I'll admit that it surprised me like nothing else before. I'll never forgive you for this loss of neurons!

Seen it. It has all the makings of creepy horror, but it's ultimately just shock horror. I don't find that scary. Your friend can punch the air an inch from your face and you'll flinch even if you know he's not trying to hit you. This is the same thing. It's a natural reaction to jump a bit, doesn't mean it's actually scary.

Case in point, if you read it after you already know what it is, it's not scary at all.

Oh it has sound?

Huh, guess no script blocked all the fancy stuff. All I got was a comic.

The anime art made it not the least bit scary for me (and maybe since you said it would be scary), but I don't get scared by media or other fake things. I am scared of stuff in reality.

Pretty sure I've "read" this before, and I'll assume I am thinking of the same thing so I don't have to look at it again, D=

With that said, I thought it was scary, D+

I got so mad, haha

Pretty much. I've never seen this before, but the most I got out of it was a little surprise from the sudden noise.

Creepy? Nah. Scared? No.
Frodo67 has it about right...at most it's like if your friend suddenly bangs a cymbal right next to your ear as you're trying to read a newspaper and you startle.

This isn't a "screamer" is it? I hate those things. Gonna turn my volume down just to be on the safe side.

Edit: Damnit! It got me, I jumped a bit.

[censored]! You didn't say it was the comic-equivalent of a screamer. That's not being genuine-horror-scared, that's jump-out-and-scream-BOO!-scared. I would have been just as startled if it was Elmo giving the girl a hug if it moved and made a noise.
