The game just came through my letterbox and I've been away working and I have just seen all the complications with this game,
I installed it and it just comes up Rage.exe has stopped working just seconds after I click on the exe and this is after the patch. This is a 6 year build ffs.
I have a 6950Radion Amd and I'm wondering if my drivers are to cause, but surely they should work cos everything else works with them, I7 930 6gb dominator ram.

This is a stretch since I don't think anything 3D is happening that soon, but I would try loading the Catalyst UI and reset everything to default. I have noticed certain settings in there cause the game to react violently for me.

If for some reason it's a problem with the intro cinematic, try adding this Steam launch option for RAGE: +set com_skipIntroVideo 1
(The intro cinematic is just logos, not a story video.)

Thanks mate for that, I just installed the latest drivers and the video ran fine, but when I entered the game all the textures were all knackered.

I run a 32bit system and I can't believe that id has had 6yrs to test and not seen this coming. It's the worse pile of cack I have seen for a AAA release to date.
Come on id get your act together. I wont be able to get a refund now I've installed the game.

did u update too the 11.10v2? if you did try adding in +cvaradd jobs_numThreads 0 +vt_maxPPF 8 in CC turn v-sync always on

Yeah Ive got them drivers this is what it looks like, I dont believe it, even the website is knackered. I cant insert a picture as it comes up as a link iinstead of a image, wtf are you doing id!!!!!!!

Don't bother as I'm getting a refund. Never have I bought such a F%*#ed piece of trash as this, it reminds me of the Duke Nukem Forever 3D Realms scenario.
