It is now Hearthfire (the month) in my game..

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 3:03 pm

..Nice coincedince, it is the 2nd of Hearthfire in my game at the moment, convenient.

Now we know that Hearthfire is a housing DLC, does anyone else think it was a bad choice for a name? Hearthfire i suppose does link to the whole 'home'-y atmosphere, but im also hoping the DLC links SOMEHOW (even a little) into the month, otherwise i think the name of the DLC is slightly tacky and pointless...

I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but what do you guys think?

I was about to comment on how wrong you were and i just noticed.. your right :0
If the month is heartfire, why were so many people commenting on its connection to the month before the contents of the dlc were announced if its not even the same word, was the book that was refered to so many times Hearth or heart?

I only noticed it the other day when it was heartfire in my game, maybe it has a connection in lore come to think of it.

I like the month names.

Hearthfire sounds like a TES homestead, which is kinda what it is.

I meant the name of the DLC, not the month.. i was concerned that the fact that it sounds too much like the month is a bad coincidence...

Coincidence? I think not!

hearthfire is the name of a conjuration skillbook, I think specifically about necromancy, that is what people were speculating about

The books called Hearthfire because it's referencing the date on which the events of the book take place. Not because Hearthfire's tightly related to magic.
