So now that the game is finnaly out....

Hi all,

First of all let me say that the game looks ANWSOME! But I won't buy the game until my university session is finish for the sake of having good grades lol :)

But I also told myself I would not buy this game if they screwed with level scalling again...So I have a couples of questions for you lucky guys playing the game out there...

1- How is the level scalling? Do you feel any danger? Do you feel it worth exploring?

2- This is by far my biggest concerns...leveled loot....first of all, do bandits wear glass armor when I am level 20 or do they stay with what they have all game? Like it should be...

3- Can you find...let say...a glass shortsword at Level 1 if I do an incredible feat and I kill...let say...a master vampire because of a glicth....will I get a Steel Sword because I am level 1 or I will I get my glass shortsword because I killed something 30 times more powerful than me....

I love RPG...but I need immersion to like the game and I need to feel it worth exploring to find some UNIQUE weapon that don't scale with you're level
The last game from bethesda that did it well...for me at least...was Fallout: New Vegas (a lot of unique stuffe, ennemies were not scalled at all....i had a lot of fun)

P.S: Sorry for my english it not my first language

You have nothing to worry about in Skyrim.

1. It is much more dangerous in Skyrim than it ever was in Oblivion. One moment your slaughtering a bandit and next thing you know you die from a dragon that comes out of nowhere. They do not level up with you and all have different levels.

2.No leveled loot. (I think)

3.Anything is possible :)

It's like this...

I found an Orc Mace early on in the game but it only did 16 damage. I took a look at it later and now it does 19 damage. This is compared with an iron mace which did only 14 before and now does 17.

What level did you find the Orcish mace? I don't care if the power of the weapon scales my real fear is that I can only find such item at such level.

I found some higher end things in far off places at level 3-5... problem is getting to them as sometimes you'll run into situations you simply cannot get through at an early level.

One dungeon I got about 30 minutes into it (no where near the start) at level 6 and hit a couple enemies there's just no way I could take on at that level. Damn Dwemer and their spheres...

Level scaling seems fine. I'm a bit worried about lock picking. Seems like you can pick most any lock if you have enough lockpicks. Dont know if this allows you to get uber loot or not
