Would like a crash course in this, since I have not played in 6 months, and I don't understand the legendary skills.
I thought you could only reach level 81...?
By going legendary, you reset the skill to 15 giving you back your perks, essentially removing the level cap
I think the cap is like, what, 68500? Or was it 65800? Someone mentioned it before.
Legendary skills is simple. If you reach 100 in any skill you can make it Legendary. Your skill returns to 15 and any perks in that skill can be reallocated to any other skill you wish.
This can be done any number of times.
New Level cap is in the thousands, like 6556 or something.
Damn, I'm almost at the cap. I need more perks.
Reset the skills you never use. Then put more and more into health stamina and/or magicka
For the power gamers who want to reach demigod status and master every skill.
That to... Bloody powergamers svcking the fun out of the game
I find that to be an untrue generalization -- speaking from experience, you can be godlike and still have plenty of fun.
He was kidding.
There is a new Legendary difficulty beyond master. haven't tried it yet
Especially true BTW. My 360 DohVahKiin is far beyonjd any of his enemies and the stuff of legends. I want to get to lvl 81 and fight the ebony warrior but I don't know if I'll be able to play him that long. I'm getting burned and need a break. I am end up creating another character before I ever get him that far.
Allow me to rephrase; I can. To each his own, forever and always.
I don't understand why they implemented the Legendary mechanic like that. I use the Community Uncapper mod that just simply allows the skills to continue to level pst 100. It just doesn't make sense for my character to be taken back, like that.
You are a master of a skill and perked out in it, then all of a sudden, you are a novice with no perks anymore. How is that logical?
It doesn't make sense, it just is. BTW is the Uncapper mod available thru Steam or Nexus?
I stay away for the workshop for a number of reasons. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1175/?.
Are you being facetious? Of course they can't. No one was suggesting otherwise.
My point is the Uncapper is the staple of the mechanic the should have been applied, in lieu of what they have done.
Knowing your dislike of Steam I thought so.
BTW kiss Eola goddbye, she fell hard today. Since I didn't want my good DohVahKiin knowing he would nearly depopulate the available vendors there I cut her down in the Hall of the dead rather than follow the quest. Sometimes not knowing is better.
