so since the players will be the ones that are crowned emperor, whats the point of even having the NPC faction leaders, queen ayreen, king emeric, and high king jorunn? i think they should have more to do with the throne instead of the players, i mean i like the idea of the player being emperor, but what's their role in all this?

they can still lead the kingdoms and be very very powerful people in their own right. But they also serve to ground the lore and provide a drivng force to all the pve/story related content in the game. I don't think emperors will really factor in very much at all.

well since the players will be becoming emperors, we're also adding our footprint to the lore aswell
