Ok, wierd glitch. Whenever I enter a room, or try to talk to someone who is sitting down, they immediately go into the "cowering" pose, with their hands over their head, ducking down. like a "please don't hurt me!" pose. This makes it really difficult to talk to shopkeepers when they keep ducking behind the counter, and really wierd when Jarls turn around, go to sit down, then immdiately stand back up, then stand on their chair when they talk to me.
I think this mostly seems to happen indoors. I can still get through most quests (just have to wait for the NPCs to stop cowering and finally get on with their action), but REALLY immersion-breaking.
When it started:
On my latest character, which I created after getting DawnGuard. I also have several Steam & Nexus mods. The only one I can possibly point to is my most recent mod from Nexus, as it added a couple files to the "scripts" folder. However...
Steps I've Taken:
I've tried disabling ALL mods I have, and removed every single file from my most recent nexus mod ompletely. The problem still persists, even though I've disabled every mod I have, even Dawnguard.
Should I try to scrub Skyrim and reinstall maybe?
