Hi all,

Playing skyrim with PC/Windows 7 and 1.689 patch. Trying to call odhaviing the first time on Dragonreacdh
but he doesn't show up. I've tried just about everything that I can think of but no luck.

Including multiple shouts, shouts from different locations, waiting a long period of time,, etc. Nothing. I know this was an issue on the XBox, but I think it's also
shown up on people's PC's.

One oddity is that I can't leave and come back once I call odhaviing, the game crashes 100 per cent of the time when I try to re-enter the Dragonreach porch area.

I find it really depressing that after seven plus months since the release, and multiple patches, Main quests are so badly glitched. I also ran into the problem with
the going back in time cutscene with the elder scroll. I had to use the console to move forward.

Anybody know of any fixes?

i would say use the comand that makes the quest end but i guess that would just ruin the game even more... Skyrim has a lot of bad game breaking glitches and there is nothing to do about them. You could always try my sugestion tho

Wonder, can you just console him to your location?

I've tried using the console commands to move Odhaviing to my location, but still no joy. He still doesn't show up, although you can hear him breathing, so I suppose it makes him invisible.
