pls give us some sort of rcon asap

to many cheaters

and if a server is full, our own members cant even join there own rented server.

the community is asking for this, atleast do something to let us paying customers enjoy and running our own payed server like we want.

no more BS crytek! its time you do something, we waited to long now.

There are two programs to monitor look through the forums for them. one is RCON the other is a beta made for Crysis 2, that doesnt have all functions enabled. Both work great.

Next time look past one3 or two pages before osting.

and than you have to wait til new cry2 people connect
so a full recon tool is needed.

second of that i tryed to do that and got a host blocking my request error.
you really think i not tryed any of those 2 programs?

Come on... yes there are a couple mickey mouse, cobbled together RCON tools that one can try.

But let's face the facts... they svck. They are inconsistent, and half the time they drop off or "lose" track of whose on the server. I test banned a friend using the Rconnect version and it took almost 2 hours to figure out how to completely "unban" him. Just silly.

Every decent game in the last few years has had a reasonable set of options for rcon admin. I have also run BFBC2 servers and the admin tools are fantastic, not to mention there are multiple versions to choose from.

I fully expected Crysis2, the long awaited, epic game of the year to have, at the very least, "normal" admin control. But only after spending my money and committing to a couple of servers for at least a month do you find out that there is nothing but half jacked options. GSP's are scratching their head, and so am I.

I am stuck for a couple of 1 month contracts, but then I am dumping my C2 servers. Why pay for servers you cant admin? Simply amateur hour.

whats the use of renting a server without having any option to run it you want.

not even mentioned the bunch of cheaters, that play on our servers! and ruin our fun! in this game!

we payed together for a server but we cant even join our own server if its full! we have to restart it to get on our own server.

i really really cant understand whats going on at crytek

we can make this game better if we have rcon tools to atleast have admin'd servers that keep servers cheat free.

crytek isnt keeping them cheat free ( look at leaderboards), and we cant keep our own servers cheat free, gj crytek....

if i dont see any chances this next week, we gonna dump the gameserver, and any other product of crytek.

i dont see any support towards the paying customers so far, so no need to keep supporting them!

What server are you renting from? GameServers have admin control panels to kick and ban cheaters. BUT... I agree with you we need RCON badly so we can start controlling our own turf to provide a clean battle. Sick of cheaters already. Enough is enough. Crytek you have a reputation to consider and please REMEMBER you started with PC. Give us what we need now!

Yes. I use Gameserver for one of my servers, but neither they nor my other GSP have any admin panel as you have mentioned or I would be using it.

That is precisely the problem here. Normally the GSP does have an Rcon program/panel that they have been given or can recommend to help us admin. In the case of Crysis2... there is none! (except the prior mentioned half baked options) That is why the cheaters reign and the admins cant even clear a few slots to allow clan members in etc. short of a total server restart.

we use i3d server

they also cant provide us with rcon because they dont have any from crytek, i know there are some ways to add some command lines but they dont want to do that yet.

i only can restart, stop, shutdown, and change the gametype of the rotations.

if we only get a working official rcon we can get some cheat free servers and let people atleast enjoy the game a little more.

if i need to choice between dx 11 our rcon i pick rcon.

no need for dx11 on sp our mp when its full of cheaters.

btw last patch was 2 weeks ago? come on 2 weeks later with all these problems and no new patch is unbelievable.


well if i dont see anything changed this week, i will stop my server and not buy anymore games from this company.
