For a while i've been wondering who i will choose as my bard in Hearthfire, so i did a little tour of Skyrim to see who has the best voice, but ultimately i came across Ogmund, from the Silver-blood Inn in Markarth, this dude is bad ass, he is a battle hardened war veteran who has wrote many Songs about his travels, they even teach alot of his stuff at the Bard College apparently. Admittedly he doesnt have the best singing voice, but his renditions of the songs are quite nice. His personality and look suits that of a Bard worthy of the Dragonborn, and considering we can choose him and there are no new better bards added with Hearthfire, he will be the one to bless my hallowed Hearthfire halls with song!

What about you guys? Who are you gonna' choose and for what reason? Oh, and is anyone else desperatly hoping they add some new songs for bards to sing? I want to hear some new material, i think if we have completed the main quest, we should be able to teach our bard the Song of Skyrim, you know the theme song, in Dovish like it should be

Can you choose your bard? I thought you could only choose your steward.

Im sure i heard somewhere you can choose both.. maybe im wrong, but well find out when its released wont we :3

Well, if we get to choose, my main one will be the bard from Ivarstead. It's in her best interest to get as far away from Riften as possible, and I doubt even the Black-Briars would raid the Dovahkiin's fortress.
