So when Dawnguard came out, I shrugged it off... Xbox users need to have their fun right? Who cares if they get it first? I don't care.
Then Hearthfire came out... Okay... I waited 30 extra days for a 4.99 DLC... but I got to adopt some n'erdowell children and have chickens in my lodge. Okay, I'll give you a pass Bethesda...
Now I'm watching everyone and their MOTHER post full playthroughs of Dragonborn. I can't take two steps without someone posting a spoiler, or complaining about feature X ... which I can't even [censored] try
This is getting ridiculous. Bethesda, you made a sweet game here... and you've supported it non-stop... and for that I commend you. But this exclusivity thing with Xbox is the equivalent of slapping PC users in the face with your junk... It's degrading and pointless... not to say junk slapping someone in the face is always pointless, but in this case it is.
I know they won't do anything about it. But I'm tired of being silent about it. I disapprove Bethesda.
With all due respect, I find your post a bit off-putting.
PS3 owners should be the ones upset in all of this. They, unbeknownst to them, purchased a console not fit for the standard games that are being shelled out for this generation. Sure they look great, but how many who purchased the product knew that the system limitations from a memory/storage/RAM perspective would hinder any future DLC for one of their favorite games? Bethesda is working on this and will release somethings in the next week few weeks.
Speaking as a console owner, don't you also have access to about a zillion (not exagerating) mods and graphical enhancements to occupy your time? Plus, every DLC for the PC is about a month out. This is likely due to the resources and mods the PC fanbase has, so they throw the console users a bone. Like Bethesda has already said as official release, you'll have your DLC about a month after the XBOX release. I find the timing of your post ironic as they could release the DLC for the PC freakign tomorrow if they wanted to. There's really no waiting time from announcement to the Steam purchase for the PC users as well.
I don't mean to be ornery about this, but posts like this are a stick in the eye. PC users are really the upper echelon of the gaming community from an access and resource standpoint, a la. --&--#62; all the goodies. If you're so upset about the spoilers, exercise some self control and stay off the Dragonborn forums in general. The moderatiors are doing a bang up job moving this to specific forums to avoid this.
