An Old-School RPG Kickstarter. What say you?

I have no idea who these people are, or anything about the games they've made. To the older gamers? How are their games? Does this KS sound appealing? It seems kind of vague like the Obsidian one, but these people have much better tiers for awards. Not to mention Obsidian eventually did flesh out a lot of their world so we got a much better idea what they were going to be doing.

Asking for 1 million for an old school RPG in the middle of Obsidian's Kickstarter is a horrible idea. It wouldn't surprise me if this doesn't go so well.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't have the funds right now to support another Kickstarter anyways.

They've made almost $50,000, and the Kickstarter was launched today. Just assuming they do $50,000 each day means they will get $1.6 million. Of course, as the news gets around about this, I'm sure they'll do better than that. I've already pledged my money towards it.

This really looks great - my only wish would be that they could make the game moddable. Now that would be awesome.

Almost half way to being funded already, not bad.

One of the founders of iD and the woman partly responsible for Wizardry?

Yeah, this is on my watch list.

They probably thought they could ride the old-school RPG nostalgia wave produced by Obsidians success.

Surprisingly since I looked last, the backers have doubled. It's going quite well. I'll keep an eye on this one as it's still fairly fresh.

Well it appears to be working if that's the case.

It seems to be doing well, and the sudden wave of old-school RPG kickstarters makes me happy.
