This is on the Xbox 360 version of the game and has become more frequent as of late.
I have Patch 1.8 installed and have all dlc's except dragonborn installed as well and im starting to wonder if its related to the game saves size which has went from 9.5mb to 10.4mb with less than 20 hours of game play but I can't say for sure.

Ideally I would like to know of a fix for the crashing as it freezes the system and requires a hard reset of the console however I would settle for knowing what's coursing it so if you need any more info just ask.

I would delete your old saves. I'm not sure how things work on the 360, but I would also disable all the autosaves.
