my one handed was on around 50 odd and now its shot down to 15? Ive tried activating shrines and sleeping? any other ideas?

Have you checked your Magic tabe to see what you have currently active on your character?

yup just all positive effects. anyhow it seemed to go back to normal when i skilled it up!

I also have the same problem but with archery. This happened to me yesterday. I dumped everything I was carrying. And the problem was still there. I reload an early save and the problem cleared. I played the rest of the day yesterday and it was fine. I started playing today got a few saves in then I checked my stats and the same thing again to archery. My level is 54 this hasn't happened with any other skill. I'm just trying to figure out if it's just the number or is this effecting the strength of my bow. Any help would be great.

Same here, but on my 2h skill. Went from 65 to 20 (in red).

I did go to a trainer to level up my skill and going from 65 to 66 fixed the problem, but that cost me 2k gold! I reverted to just before the training to try and level up manually, but im worried that its gonna be hard with a skill of 20!

Anyone figured out if its just visual bug or if it affects your actual dmg?

I'm having a similar problem, again with archery. It may only be visual though. While the skills screen lists my archery as 15, the perks screen shows my actual skill level. Let me know if it's the same for you.

It's the same for me, perk say 55. I did just level it and it went from 22 to 55

I've had that happen to my bow skill as well. I think it maybe a bug. I just leveled it up and it put it back to normal.
