One Small Problem With Skyrim.

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 7:59 am

So far I love Skyrim. I enjoy everything about it. Except one thing......

An arrow is stuck in my head.

After going through a dungeon, it just stayed there. I tried fast travel, resting, sleeping, even being put to jail. Nothing worked. It's a pretty stupid complaint, i know. But it's just so irritating.

Have any of you experienced this in your past games? Is their anyway to fix this?

Haha I started to panic when this happened to me, but if you get into another fight and get shot again by an arrow, it gets fixed...until the glitch happens again :whistling:. But it has only happened to me a few times.

This is very good to know. Thank you! I thought I was the only one.

Again I wouldn't call it a glitch, every ES game to date as had this "problem". If the arrows didn't remain in your body they also would not remain in enemies or in the environment. All arrows share the same characteristics and the coding that allows them to remain in the world space also causes them to be stuck in you for a little while. I know that in Oblivion one way to fix this was to equip the arrows in your inventory, essentially picking up the arrow from your body.

OP... its most definatly NOT a silly complaint you have. Its something bethesda should have fixed before releasing.

The solution is to get shot by another arrow.. that works, I had the same problem.

This has happend to me a few times also. Also when i am casting destruction spells my screen will freeze for about 3 seconds and it always scares me. Not all the time, usually only when i am fighting wolves, i guess from loading the area around me and initiating a new fight sequence and me casting a spell is just too much for it sometimes. But its almost always unfreezes, still scary tho

Try equipping arrows.
