*One of the Best Exploits in Skyrim*

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 8:09 am

Kudos to RedComet313 for finding the glitch that I've delved into!

This glitch essentially allows a character to wear several (if not infinite) articles of clothing, as well as temporarily create a super powerful transformation!

Here's how it works.

1. Use secret servant.

2. Use your transformation.

3. Once you transform and then spoken to, use the menu to equip all the items you could ever ask for. There's no limit.

4. Re-equip VL armor.

5. ???

6. Profit.

I've also been trying to use staves, but to no avail. I think scrolls might work, however. If anybody else finds interesting uses for this glitch, please post!

**Update**

Unfortunately, the VL appears to have its own favorites menu. It would not appear that you can modify it through the use of favorites. I was hoping to semi-permanently modify the VL spell list, but this would appear to be impossible. Unless we get a back door into our spell list, it may stay that way.

I did the same when I saw the other thread and I was just to create a new thread.

I have investigated and it also works with beast form (so you don't need Dawnguard).

It's massive this exploit, I currently have 20+ rings, 15+ circlets, etc. equipped.

I have 12 different fortify one handed damage showing in the active effects list O_o.

This exploit also allows the VL to use a single type of scroll, including master.

*WARNING*

This will also cause you to see a naked VL briefly upon transformation. >_<

So basically you can finish the game without ever really having a challenge? Wonder how long it will be before you get bored and start asking for more dlc.

Yes, and every armor rating and effects stack.

You can now wear as many necklaces as you'd like. Have you tried favoriting those 2 spells from that ring from Kolbjorn Barrow (My spelling is terrible) and then equipping the ring while in VL form?

Unfortunately, that wouldn't work. The ring is unequiped when you transform. Honestly, I'm very surprised favoriting things in VL form didn't allow us to add it to the VL favorites.

I don't think they do... I just tried seeing if equipping Royal Vampire Armor would give me Harkon's look, but it doesn't :( the way that Vampire Lord Armor works really got my hopes up

Why not just use the fortify restoration glitch to max out whatever stats you want instead of hunting for a thousand different items to wear?

Seems your taking the long road to the same result.

Because there are unique effects that you cannot normally get without wearing a certain item?

Such as what?

If your glitching your game you obviously don't care about being overpowered so just give yourself unlimited health and use a fork to kill everything.

From things such as artifacts? Getting to wear Miraak's robes along with other armor? This offers further RP possibilities to those who want it.

@XRAT:
Not really sure what your point here is. I tried out a glitch somebody else found, and I'm going into more detail about its relatively unique properties. Chill, man.

I was experimenting with this and was able to create 79% enchantment potions.

How high of a percent can you go with making a enchantment potion? or is there no limit to how high. Just wondering us all.

With rings I noticed you can only wear 1 type of ring. Meaning I was unable to equip 2 gold diamond rings even if the effect bonus was different from each.

I was able to equip 1 of each type of ring which was kinda cool but I won't in my games.

I will however create 1 ring that is 100% to create potions / smithing. That eliminates having to wear 7 pieces of crafting gear when I want to make something new. Also a single crafting ring that weighs only .05 I can just keep with me wherever my char goes and to me that's just awesome.

Also will create 1 ring and dump my current percent of 1h weapon/ archery skill boost. For my game this opens my choices to create some gear with alittle resists rather then lug around 30 pots of each resist potion.

Not to derail but what would be awesome is if we could create a potion that has all three resists fire, frost and lighting. Prob asking to much work for something like that in game.

But I like this new find because it gives me more choices to better round out my character. Also I can wear the Talos amulet and not just 1h/archery crafted amulet.

Kinda really wish jewel crafting had more alot more types and styles to create. Like a dragon bone ring or saber cat tooth necklace or bea claw necklace or even a vampire eye necklace.

Anyway I like this glitch thanks for the post OP.

Snip

I see. Interestingly, there was already a glitch like this, but it involves going to jail and escaping multiple times. Also, this has more functionality because you can use it while transformed. Thanks for exploring it so in depth! I was hoping to make some more permanent changes to the transformation, but sadly, it wasn't meant to be...

Hey, so I preformed this glitch but after I have stacked several different gears together it seem their effects go away, rendering some items completely pointless to put on in the first place.
Is their any way to get around some items loosing their effects?

Are they still equipped? If you try equipping two of the same base item, they get unequiped.
