As the title suggests, the Freeside girl rat catcher has disappeared, is this due to the latest patch or is it a glitch in my game? If the latter, does anyone now how to resurrect her?

Why would you want that annoying little brat back? IIRC theres no quest that needs her.

Their "Thanks mister" really warmed my heart.

I've noticed those two kids are buggy. In ever single one of my playthroughs the girl sounds like the guy wich always makes me go :blink:
I've never actually seen them disapear though.

Also you could probably use console commands to resurect her if your on pc, you'd have to look through the wiki for those though since I don't know them. If not, try reloading an earlier save?

no, she's missing in mine too since the patch. I think it's deliberate. (A girl chasing and eating a rat!? ewwww)

I was wondering about that, too. I missed talking to both of them spontaneously just to hear their generic voices -- "Thanks Mister", Thanks Mister", "Thanks Mister". It cracks me up everytime.... Anyways, I noticed this when I killed the rat at my 2nd playthrough.

I play on PC and my two were running around chasing the rat hmm intreresting, maybe she glitched and got hung up somewhere.

I think she's one of the many minor NPCs who have been sacrificed to shorten our loading screens. Ashes to ashes, funk to funky.

i've frozen many times with those two running around. they do bad things to my game. i hope it's because of the patch, freeside freezes a ton for me.

Is it a new post-patch game?

Just noticed they go almost unmentioned in the Vault wiki, just a note on a page about Fallout children.

on mine the mick + ralph kid runs away from me then pulls a knife on me and then says hi there.such a nice kid

Freeside can finally breath a sigh of relief now that the foul blight has been removed. The terror those kids brought to the streets is enough to make you go to church :cryvaultboy:

Thats what Freeside does to kids, sad really.
