One thing I don't get about Saadia

Post » Fri Jan 18, 2013 9:28 pm

Alright, so it's pretty damn obvious that she's the liar in this case. Hammerfell has no Thalmor presence, and Taneth did fall. Mercenaries: 2 Saadia: 0.

But the one thing that bugs me is the description the Mercenaries give you. "We're looking for a woman. She's a Redguard, like us!"

...

Okay. So,

...

These guys were obviously hired by the nobility of Hammerfell. Was the best description they could give the mercenaries literally just "Oh, well, she's a Redguard woman. Like half of our population. We don't know her current name... Also, she's somewhere in Skyrim, our bordering nation that likely has a fair number of Redguards. Good luck."

Can you imagine? That's like the U.K police saying "Oh, well, we're looking for a Caucasian male, and he might be somewhere in South Africa."

I deeply feel for Hammerfell's future if this is the mindset of the current nobility. It won't even be another Crown/Forbear war. It'll be "dear lord our leaders are utter morons we need to change this."

that's the difference between real life police and video games police or whatever you wanna call them, some things just doesn't make sense if you keep digging around it. anyway if you want a logical explanation then the Aliki'r didn't say her name because they knew it would be useless as she most likely changed it when she moved to Skyrim, they just asked you to keep an eye on any suspicious redguard women because they weren't allowed to operate freely in the cities. or maybe they weren't allowed to give out any more information for security matters.

Actually, they do know She has a unique scar that is not visible when She is clothed. They do(or did) force the Redgaurd Women to strip down to thier underwear.

Oh? Source?

Also, this is mostly a non-serious thread.

Just mentions the scar. Nothing about making them strip.

She doesn't strip every time, it's just a bug that happens to any NPC wearing randomly generated clothing, since one of the shirts have a hat attached to it, when they spawn with another hat the hat takes preference over the clothes and they appear naked.

I'm guessing the warriors were probably told other details about Saadia, they just don't mention them to the player character.

They don't. It's most likely a glitch (like the Naked Courier). She has always been dressed when I've run into them.

Edit: ninja'd.
