One thing I don't get with the wings

Why would you want to build an alchemy lab or Enchanters tower when its basically just one enchanters table or alchemy lab and a couple of areas to put soul gems or potions then a place you can sit outside. Especially when you can add both an alchemy lab and enchanters table to the main building.

It's if you want to get the "tower", though they are pretty disappointing IMO.

I was expecting a huge tower with a built in spiral stair case and instead I get a walk-in closet. I built the enchanter's tower put the alchemy lab in my main hall. In my other houses, I won't bother with another tower.

yeah they are pretty useless...I also was hoping for the nice spiral stairs and with the library i was thinking large room and just a ton of bookshelves and all sorts of cool bits and stuff like that....nope just a few bookcases and a table lol.

Same goes for the blacksmith stuff. Why use the basemant when you have it all outside with a nicely placed chest. I guess you could say the same for the bedroom.

Well if you are at Lakeview with an over enthusiast local bunch of killers waiting for you the instant you appear outside, the advantage is you can smith in the safety of your own home, the only thing that might attack you is skeevers and they are not going to kill anything.

I've only been attacked once and that was by wolves.
