One thing I don't understand about Connor (AC3)

Why does he continue to support the Patriots even after the revelation that it wasn't Charles Lee who burned down his village but George Washington? I thought he was fighting for his people as well, unless he happens to have put his duties as an Assassin over his own people's well-being.

It almost seems like every action he's taken has backfired.

I really don't know. The whole story line seemed like such a mess. First he was only loyal to his village, then he helps the patriots and wants America's freedom, then he hates them and so on.

I honestly think it was a rushed game. It also seems like Connor's naive nature was an excuse to keep up with historical details.

Not to mention an oversight (if that's what you'd call it) where I was doing a homestead mission after I beat the main game, you took this girl to Achilles even though he's supposed to be...
