Yes, my first reaction was "Wow! Look at those floating elephants. Is it a sign from Odin or..?".

Not only had I never seen the trailer before Skyrim's release, I'd never heard of the series.
But my initial reaction upon finishing the tutorial was "wow! Can I climb that mountain over there?!". The answer was yes.

I found out by checking the elder scrolls website as i was doing daily. Once I saw the site in all black and asking for my age, I went to google to see if the site had been hacked.

...Thats literally my very first reaction. I didnt give it my age (and thus didnt see the actual trailer) until I confirmed that it was not hacked.

when I was watchig the VGA's on spike and saw the black men in robes I was like what is this star wars? assassins creed? and then I saw Todd and I freaked out when I saw "skyrim" I started to cry

then the game turned out to be Bethesda's worst ps3 port ever I couldn't play my most anticipated game ever from my favorite developer for months until the 1.4 patch and once it came out the magic was lost

I think I was more excited for that announcement than any other game announcement ever. I was jittery because I was so excited. The release didn't change anything. I love the game.
