This. I doubt the game will be that graphically intensive. You could build a decent PC for $700 or so that would run the game fine.

$500 is cutting it a bit. I recommend saving atleast $700 (not including monitor)

Thanks, I do love this system I built last year. It is great.

Before you blow hundreds on a gaming PC make sure you check out the game first. If you like Skyrim, especially for the combat, graphics or interactivity, Elder Scrolls Online might not be for you.

Haven't played RIFT on here before, but it can max any game I throw at it at 5760x1080....except Crysis 2 with High res textures and DX11, I can run at high for 60FPS.

--Edit-- Didnt mean for this to have its own post.

Choose compatible parts. Like I said, $700 is a good starting place. What else is needed besides the tower itself? Monitor, Keyboard/Mouse, speakers/headphones?

I find it better to build the system yourself. Its usually cheaper and its good experience.

http://Newegg.com is a great place to find parts.

http://www.tomshardware.com/ has some good tutorials and reviews and stuff. And you can always ask here http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1376885-the-community-tech-thread-no-115/

Basically in order to build the computer you need:
Tower Case
Operating System
RAM
Video Card
Processor
Motherboard
Optical Drive
Hard Drive
Power Supply Unit

And you need to make sure that they are all compatible components. (Mainly the CPU/RAM/Motherboard are the ones you need to worry about the most with that)

I bought a rig for Skyrim and was let down by it, its a console first game they ported to PC. Yeah yeah yeah they have mods that make it look alittle better but still not impressed. Combat isnt that great in Skyrim not sure what game your playing. What does http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interactivity have to do with anything? Still wish I bought it for PS3.

I actually hope it isn't on console. They would need to simplify the game so much in order to make it work on a controller.
