Only one problem left

Apart from now wanting to drop a nuclear missile on steam, i've managed to install Skyrim from disk after the deluge of people storming in, hogging up the service, crashing the installer which makes steam DL it from the net instead :P I activated it online yesterday which wasn't a problem.

This morning (11-11-12) Using this batch file:
C:cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\""C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -install I:

I FINALLY got the 5.5 GB installed from DVD, then steam connected to the net and got the last 200 or so MB patch, but the problem remains the same, regardless of if i run a Steam install or a Disc install:

When i launch the game, i click New Game then Yes and i see a dragon, a level 1 indicator (top right) and some hints at the bottom right and all i can do is to rotate the dragon with the left mouse button...

I waited for over 5 minutes for this thing to actually DO something. When i alt tab (fullscreen) it hangs so badly that Windows recommends me powering off using the power button! When i run in windowed mode it stops working if i click on the outside.

Anyone else know how to fix this?

Ok... so i FINALLY got it running... in WINDOWED mode, 800x600.

Thank you Bethesda for again supporting Eyefinity setups with multiple monitors

Isn't eye infinity down to AMD? Also, you didn't need a batch file dude, there has been an Install From Disc topic here since before release.
