Only 1 ring?

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 4:11 am

Is it just me?... or is it only possible to wear 1 ring at a time?

Now, I can understand why we cannot wear 10 rings, but atleast 1 on each hand would be fair imo. :unsure2:

I don't know. This is actually a valid complaint, since OB had the ability to wear two.

I agree that it's a bit odd, the usual standard in RPGs (including previous TES games) was 2 rings, 1 amulet.

Well you can be pretty OP with just one, but yeah, being able to wear one ring is pretty stupid, at least one for each finger except thumbs ( i mean, thumbs normally are too big for a ring to fit, so the other filgers shold suffice).

Also there was alredy a topic complaining about that, wait for a future mod to fix this.

Ya, I just ran into this as well, a bit bummed by it.
Then again, I'm already OP with my Magicka regeneration.

I fully expect a mod to be released sometime soon for it.

If I had two rings I could reduce my destruction, restoration AND alteration down to 0 magicka cost for all spells. Me don't like that.

Corpus enchanter + Enchanting exploits = WRONG.

It's 'streamlined'. Like the UI, like mages.
In otherwords, dumbed down, as dumb as the AI.

Good show Bethesda. Can't wait for the modders to come and make your game decent.

Ehh maybe but it would be hard for Bethesda to miss this and especially since it has spread on all three platforms.

8 fingers, two thumbs and can only wear one ring--WTF? That't sad. :bonk:

It has nothing to do with dumbing down and everything to do with balance. I never played Morrowind, so I don't know if it was better or worse than Oblivion, but in Oblivion, you could make yourself invincible through enchantments. I'm sure you can still find ways to obtain god mode, they just made it a little bit harder by reducing the total number of equipped enchantable items.

If you're playing on PC and this is something that really bothers you, I'm sure there will be a 2 ring and 10 ring mod at some point.
