Onto possible Easter Egg

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 8:05 pm

I'm sure many have collected all of the paragons and went into those secret areas though the paragon portal. When I went into the secret areas of the Diamond and Amethyst paragon's, I came across many areas that were possible to whirlwind sprint to. And while in both of these areas after I used whirlwind sprint, I looked at the waterfall in the Amethyst area and saw different colors of light reflecting off of the water, ironically the colors of some other paragons, at least white (diamond), purple (amethyst), blue (sapphire), also a yellow color (I do not know what to attribute this to). While I was in the diamond paragon area in the glacial caverns, I whirlwind sprinted over to an area where I looked down and I saw colors of reflection again, this time being only white and blue. My question to the community is if they have any ideas how these relate to each other,or maybe I am just seeing a glitch in the system with lighting effects, which I doubt.

Also I want to add that while whirlwind sprinting to an area in the glacial caverns through the diamond area, I came across a small crevice I could not completely fit though to a new area, and wanted to see if anyone could have any success with that. Another thing to add is that I know the developers were messing with this area because I was able to look into an iceberg in the glacial caverns and found a canoe there (if that's a reference to an easter egg itself.)

To wrap this up, my main point is to get people to look into this and see if they can do anything with what I have stated, and please feel free to share anything you have found already.

If you have any questions, or want to work with me to figure this out, add my Xbox live gamertag: lie In The Mist

Thanks

I have not really looked into this at all. But, I do remember a cave I entered where I was able to jump on some rocks and then whirlwind sprint onto the top of a small waterfall which then lead into a new area that I had to enter/load; it was a kinda big room, surrounded by water. There were a few Falmar and a chest or two. Cool area. I forget the name, but it was close-ish to Riften, think.

Do you know if this area was added with the Dawnguard expansion?

You just went in through the exit of another dungeon, a dwarven ruin that begins with a K.

Entering with Whirlwind Sprint is unintended.

There are 5. They consist of Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Amethyst, and Diamond paragons.

The paragons themselves are from killing frost giants. When you get to some of the areas through the paragon portal, there is landmass you will see that is just asking you to whirlwind sprint to them, and since there is auriel's shield in the ruby paragon area, it leads me to believe that there is much more to discover with at least two of these other paragon's I have mentioned before.

My character is an ex-vampire knight-paladin of auriel who is a popular attendee of the chantry balcony. the more of auriels artifects or snow-elf related stuff the better!

edit; how did that guy get the crown in the first place.

And for those after a real Eastar Egg Hunt here is one.

I only saw one Falmer boat in the caverns and you could easily reach it (after a bit of swimming), so I do not see how it was an Easter egg. You could reach it going through Glacial Crevice the old fashioned way. I have yet to get as far as using most of my Paragon thingies, so if it is the same boat, with the same Falmer and her treasure chest I will let you know. Since she will be dead in my game.

Well there may be many boats, but the canoe I saw was literally in an iceberg, I had to kind of glitch my way into it. The reason I find this significant is that there may be many more things hiding in this area that I have not been able to access yet, or may be waiting to be found.

You were looking through the walls I am fairly certain, the most likely area for your vision is not that stable and the boat is directly ahead and below, I could only barely see it, so you must have got in further than I did. If you mean the shape that looked sort of like a canoe, and was viewable in the other direction, you would need a good imagination to think it was a canoe, or anything but some rock and ice. .But a picture of what you were looking at would be helpful, it could still have been something else, maybe I was looking in the wrong place. But I really doubt the colour of the light sources and their reflections could in any way be an Easter egg.

Here is the actual boat for those who want to explore Glacial Crevice the normal way and find it, unfortunately the lady Falmer that was guarding it is long gone. There was a hut with a treasure chest nearby.

That sounds like Stony Creek Cave north of Riften. It ends in an area with a small waterfall that you can Whirlwind Sprint up into. When you're there, look up.

You can also try and find the Dwemer ruins east of the cave, Kagrenzel..
