I feel silly, haha, just found out earlier. Its nice rearranging them while they are already locked on the shelf, gonna make my library look really nice.

How do you re-arrange them? I have over 600 hours in and don't know how to do that. Do you just manually place them, or what? Please share.

An easy way to get all books of the same design on the same shelf, is to give one a twist when you are giving it to the shelf by manipulating it. Then as you scroll thru the books, all those of that design will be showing the same twist.

It's how I placed the books in Vlindrell Hall long ago http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7008/6637454041_fb5e8b6ce5_o.jpg

I still don't understand what you mean by "giving it a twist" when putting it on the shelf. I have OCD (seriously...not joking) and would absolutely love to have my books arranged that way. Is there any way that you could make me a video explaining it step by step? I know that is asking a lot, but I would seriously appreciate instructions for this. That is how I have wanted my shelves in Vlindrel Hall to look.

Rotate the object into a unique position in the menu is what they mean.

OK. When you activate the shelf, you get the list of books with a model of the book. All the models of the books are facing you cover on, but you can tilt and turn the books on two axes - like any other item in your inventory. The thing is, when you tilt one and scroll thru the books, all the books of the same size, shape, color and design will be tilted the same way. What you do is every time you come to a book that is tilted that way, add it to the shelf.

The big drawback is that series of books are not all of the same design.

Okay, so you mean that when I am examining the book while in the menu, if I tilt it, then the other books that look like it will be tilted in the menu list also? I would then place all of the ones that are alike onto the shelf so that they are next to each other?

Thank you for your patience and understanding while explaining this to me. I really appreciate it. Now I can have the book shelves that I have wanted!
