I have left Boone at Cottonwood Cove and told him we'd meet back at Lucky 38, taken the barge to the Fort, surrendered my arms and walked to Caesar's Tent. The Praetorian Guard says, "you must enter this tent alone. Anyone else with you must wait outside". BUT, I'm alone!!!! I lose ED-E hours ago and haven't seen him since and can't get in the tent.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! I don't know what else to do!!!

You have to tell Boone you'd like to separate for a while telling them to wait somewhere doesn't work often times. If this doesn't work let me know.

I would think its a glitch honestly, ive heard many people "losing" ed-e only to have him remain on the radar and can hear him but cant see him. I almost had the same problem in the same spot when i told my followers to wait outside his tent when i went in and had to mess with the PC, came out and had to make a B-line for the exit only to leave my companions behind. I had to stock up on AP ammo and took out his entire army (after a long, LONG fight consuming most of my stimpacks i had backed up) But if your stuck i dunno except for the big ol' reload

That happened with Veronica with me but when you make a companion wait I still hear comments for example when I have Boone wait people still make the Ranger comments. I think if he parts ways with him then it should be ok.

I think ED somehow gets stuck under the land. This started to happen to me fighting deathclaws and he was smacked across the transistor and knocked out. Once the fight was over I noticed that half of him was in the dirt yet he was still following me. Telling him I wanted to part ways fixed it. One thing you can try is check back in Primm to see if he returned there since that is his default location. If you are on the PC there are console commands that will summon him but I don't know what they are or how to use them.

Thanks for all the input. It HAS to be that ED-E is with me, but can't be seen. I can't see him, but apparently, they can. One of them said, "the robot with one eye, creeps me out" or somehting like that. But I can't click on him to send him off or separate from him, if I can't see him ANYwhere. Have gone back to Primm and he's not there. Guess I'll have to retrace my last quests and look for the damn thing.
