So I think I've had just about enough. I can't hit M and even see the map, the second it opens before the land even fully renders itself the game will crash. Keep in mind I run a decent system and can play the game on High with little to no other issue. As I've been running my ass everywhere instead of quick traveling however I'm getting a tad annoyed. Any advice or tips on how to solve this seemingly game breaking issue?

No? No one else has this issue? Just lonesome ol' me I suppose.

At random moments (can take longer than other times) my Skyrim crashes my computer. I get a black screen, my monitors light turns orange (no more video card feed) and my music hangs. I have to manually shut down the PC and restart.

I'm running windows 7 64 bit with 560 Ti

And btw, it's different to crashed on desktop imo.
Our crash totally shuts down PC with monitor going black and nothing but hard reset helps.

I've noticed that this thing happens when I open big map, and click somewhere.
It crashed not on a map only maybe a time or two, so I just have a feeling that big map is a "risky" zone for this issue, but can happen, as I said, anywatime, but just might take longer.
